One way would be to include the cost of the war in Iraq in our National debt. Many do not realize that this is kept separate from our domestic debt. Even those who do know about it have no real idea of how much it is costing us each day. Many guess but the ones that know will not allow the tax payer to know how much is really owed by this country. Even the countries that we owe money won't talk about it. The trillions that we do know about is bad enough but if we knew the truth; all hell would break loose! Folks, we are in deep trouble. Lower the tax? Are they nuts? How are we ever going to repay what we owe to others by lowering the tax? We are just putting it off %26amp; the interest just keeps being added on to what would astonish us if we ever knew! One day that bill is going to come due. How will we ever repay this money? Guess we will just have to give them America to square our depts!
